Karfík’s church
→ In Petržalka district on Daliborovo nám.
» Church from the year 1932 designed by Baťa’s favorite architect Vladimír Karfík. Inhabitants of Petržalka turned to Tomáš Baťa with the request for financial aid to build a church and he promised them instead to build it with the money they had already collected. The church still has the original furnishing of bent tubes and typos on the confessional. Oddly enough it has survived even big changes that have transformed Petržalka into it’s current form. «
